Recent regional designs include “Hamlet" and "A Midsummer Night’s Dream” with Shakespeare at the Castle, "Little Shop of Horrors", “Sister Act”, “Hairspray!”, “Oliver!”, “Fiddler on the Roof”, The Sound of Music", “Bye Bye Birdie”, “Anything Goes” (twice!) and “Pump Boys and Dinettes” at Porthouse Theatre, “Oklahoma!”, “Buddy; the Buddy Holly Story”, “Guys and Dolls” and “Damn Yankees” at the Highlands Playhouse, “Carrie; the Musical”, “Mary Poppins”, “Assassins” and “Showboat” with Near West Theatre, “I Do! Sarah has been an educator for over ten years. She is an Assistant Professor at the University of Mount Union where she also acts as the Costume Designer and Shop Supervisor and Instructor. Previously she worked for Cleveland State University as the Senior Admissions Counselor for Arts Recruitment. From 2012-2016, she was an Assistant Professor, costume studio supervisor and resident designer at Ashland University. Before that she was the resident costume designer and instructor at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania. She is a proud member of USITT. She has taught courses in Introductory Theatre Design, Costume Design and Construction, Costume Crafts, Mask Making, Stage Makeup, Professional Prep and Rendering Techniques. Her educational design credits include productions at Ashland University, Allegheny College, Cuyahoga Community College, Kent State University and Bowling Green State University. Sarah received her Bachelor of Music from Bowling Green State University and her Master of Fine Arts from Kent State University.
